Our Producer

Angela Castaño & Jesús Bedoya
Angela Castaño and Jesús Bedoya are dedicated coffee producers who continue a family tradition built on passion and perseverance. For nearly two decades, they’ve worked to create coffees that reflect their heritage and love for the craft.
To them, coffee is more than a product — it’s a connection to their roots and a way to share the spirit of Colombian coffee with the world.

EXCURSION TO THE FARM
Finca Buenos Aires is a medium-sized coffee farm in the heart of Quimbaya, Colombia. Nearly 80% of its land is dedicated to coffee, divided into microlots with unique varieties.
Harvests peak in March–April and October–November, when a skilled team hand-picks each cherry to ensure outstanding quality.

How This Coffee Was Produced
Filtrado Exótico begins with hand-picked ripe cherries that are aged for up to five days to allow natural, oxygen-free fermentation — creating delicate, champagne-like notes.
After fermentation, the coffee is gently dried in a greenhouse for about five days, then stored and milled to prepare the beans for roasting.
