It is a shared journey connecting people who plant, nurture, roast, brew and enjoy it. It is woven into our lives, more than a daily ritual.
In a world where the love for coffee is ever-growing, challenges in the environment, society, and economy affect the lives of many in the coffee industry. At SAVORA CAFÉ we see coffee as a driving force that can bring about meaningful change.
To stay true to our mission, we focus on two key initiatives.
First, we source our coffee from responsible producers who are dedicated to impactful projects.
Second, we’ve created the SAVORA fund. For every kilogram of coffee sold, we allocate $1 to this fund. These funds go straight back to Colombia, supporting projects that improve the lives of the coffee communities there.
Together with our producers we are now working on:
We are proud to have coffee from two remarkable producers in our portfolio who are part of a project dedicated to supporting coffee growers living in areas affected by armed conflict or political unrest.
The main goal is to ensure the continuity of coffee farmers’ businesses and facilitate the transition from illegal farming to sustainable coffee production. By focusing on coffee-related initiatives, this project fosters peace and stability within the community.
We are passionate about empowering women within the coffee industry, recognizing the challenging circumstances that have led many of them to this field. In our shop, you can already find two exceptional coffees produced by women, and we are constantly searching for more.
We support initiatives that provide opportunities for leadership, education, financial independence, access to markets, and advocate for gender equality in coffee-producing regions.
We are deeply committed to sustainability and biodiversity, recognizing their crucial importance for the coffee industry and the planet. We partner exclusively with responsible coffee growers who prioritize sustainable practices and actively support biodiversity. These dedicated producers employ eco-friendly farming methods, conserve natural habitats, and promote soil health, ensuring that our coffee is as good for the environment as it is for your cup.
